Glossary
The terms of Art of Numbers — explained simply, with origin and limits.
Your fundamental pattern of development — the number most other readings start from.
The digit sum of your birth day, month and year, reduced. Master numbers (11/22/33) are preserved rather than reduced further.
It is the most established value in standard numerology — most other numbers in this product relate back to it.
It does not describe a destiny or a fixed biography — only a recurring pattern.
The quality your birthday specifically highlights.
The day of your birth alone, reduced — master numbers are preserved.
It carries your actual birth day as its own, individual signature alongside the Life Path.
It does not replace the Life Path — both stand side by side, neither cancels the other.
The single digit a larger number ultimately reduces to.
Repeated digit-summing until only one digit (1–9) remains — unless the value is a master number.
It is the base tone that Doctrine text (e.g. Light/Shadow) is written against.
It is not "more important" than the compound it came from — both belong together.
The full number before reduction — for example the 33 in 33/6.
The last two-or-more-digit number in the reduction chain, before the root is reached.
It shows a context the root alone does not — two people with the same root can have arrived there by different origin numbers.
An origin number is not automatically "stronger" or "more meaningful" than the root.
11, 22 or 33 — numbers that this system does not shorten to their root.
Arises when a reduction chain lands exactly on 11, 22 or 33 — the chain stops there instead of reducing further.
Its origin stays visible rather than disappearing into a smaller number.
A master number does not make someone "more evolved" than someone without one — it is a different calculation rule, not a rank.
The number describing the main temporal activation of your current personal year.
Birth day + birth month + reference year, digit-summed. It changes on your birthday, not on the calendar new year.
It is the broadest of the three personal time layers — a yearly frame that month and day fit inside.
It does not predict specific events — it describes a time quality, not a script.
The finer-grained time quality within your personal year.
Personal Year + calendar month, digit-summed.
It shows how the year’s quality differentiates further from month to month.
It does not stand apart from the personal year — it is its finer resolution.
The finest-grained of the three personal time layers — the quality of a single day.
Personal Month + calendar day, digit-summed.
It changes daily while the Life Path and Birthday Number stay stable — a direct contrast of lasting identity and changing activation.
It is not a daily horoscope with predictions — only a calculated time quality.
A named span of time with its own calculated number — from a single day to decades.
It is the umbrella term for every time layer in this product — day, month, year and the three main life phases.
A cycle is not a fixed deadline with a guaranteed outcome at the end.
Your years as a timeline — the view where your personal years line up like a ladder.
It makes visible how your personal year changes over time, without devaluing earlier years.
It is not a progress bar — no year is "finished" or "better" than another.
What shapes your early foundation — roughly your first 30 years.
From your birth month, reduced to 1–9.
It is the first of the three main cycles and the starting point for the Active Expression and Integration phases.
The age boundary is approximate, not a hard biographical switch-over point.
Which energy steps more strongly into your active, shaping life in this phase — roughly 30 to 60 years.
From your birth day — master numbers (e.g. on the 11th or 29th) are explicitly preserved here.
It carries your actual birth day as a strong individual signature into the middle phase of life.
The age boundary is approximate, not a hard biographical switch-over point.
What deepens, integrates and keeps developing later in life — roughly from 60 onward.
From the digit sum of your birth year, reduced to 1–9.
It is the third main cycle — open-ended, with no end date.
The age boundary is approximate, not a hard biographical switch-over point.
How this energy can find constructive expression.
It shows the usable side of a pattern, not just an abstract trait.
"Light" does not mean the other side (Shadow) must be avoided or is bad.
Where the same energy can tip over, overreach or get stuck.
It is content, not an error state — a pattern worth reflecting on.
"Shadow" is not a diagnosis and not a judgement of you as a person.
What makes development within this pattern possible.
It connects Light and Shadow — the path along which one can move toward the other.
It is not a promise that the turn happens automatically or at a specific time.
In the Colour Field: the root beneath your origin number — a steady, constant base tone.
The root of your Life Path (e.g. 6 in 33/6).
It stands for what stays stable while other Colour Field roles change over time.
It is not a compatibility score with other people.
In the Colour Field: whichever main cycle (Origin, Active Expression or Integration) is currently running.
The value of whichever main cycle is currently active based on your age.
It shows what is moving across the large life arc right now — distinct from day-to-day activation.
It does not predict a specific event within this life phase.
In the Colour Field: your personal year, with month and day as finer steps beneath it.
Personal Year, Month and Day, as described above.
It changes most often of all five Colour Field roles — the counterpart to your stable identity.
It is not a daily horoscope — only a calculated, time-changing colour role.
Five calculated roles — Dominant, Resonance, Movement, Current Activation, Grounding — each with its own number and colour.
Each role takes an already-calculated value (Life Path, main cycle, personal year, etc.) and assigns it one of the twelve colours.
The colours are a design decision per number — not a claimed physical or spiritual property of the number itself.
It is not an aura, a chakra system or a metaphysical colour doctrine — twelve numbers, twelve chosen colours.
Two people keep their own patterns. The Relationship Field shows what arises between them — not a merged third profile.
It explicitly keeps your pattern, the other person’s pattern, and the shared field distinct from one another.
It does not produce a compatibility percentage, a ranking, or a claim of destiny about the relationship.
The role your root number plays within a specific system (e.g. a family or a team) — in addition to, not instead of, your own identity.
Basis: Person-Root + System-Root, shown unreduced before being reduced to a role-root; any master number produced there is preserved. The System NUMBER formula itself — how a system as a whole gets its own number — is not yet approved; until then, this stays a named, not invented, gap.
It cleanly separates who you are from the role you play in a given context.
It does not claim a ranking between system members or a fixed, permanent assignment.
