The method
No secret, no software magic: these are digit sums. Every number on this page can be recalculated with paper and pencil.
All digits of the date of birth are added and condensed further until a single digit remains.
14.04.1990 → 1+4+0+4+1+9+9+0 = 28
28 → 2+8 = 10
10 → 1+0 = 1
These three stay as they are instead of being reduced further. In this methodology they count as qualities of their own — 11 as a heightened 2, 22 as a heightened 4, 33 as a heightened 6.
Every letter has a value from 1 to 9: a=1, b=2, through to i=9, then it starts again at j with 1. Three numbers come out of this.

the vowels only

the consonants only

the whole name
ä becomes a, ö becomes o, ü becomes u, ß becomes ss. Otherwise “Müller” and “Mueller” would give different numbers for the same person.
In this methodology y always counts as a consonant. Other schools treat it differently depending on its position in the word — this one does not.
The table only knows a to z. If a name contains other characters — æ, ø, or a non-Latin script — we ask before calculating. No mapping is invented and nothing is silently transliterated.
Day of birth, month of birth and the current year, added and condensed to a single digit. Unlike the other numbers, 11 and 22 do not stay standing here — a quality of time repeats on a nine-year cycle.
The change happens on your birthday, not on 1 January. Someone born in December is still in the previous year throughout November.
A digit sum is a digit sum. It knows nothing about you.
What a picture of numbers can do is offer a question you would not have arrived at on your own. It cannot say what is right, what will happen, or what someone is good for. Anyone who has a decision to make — about health, law, money, relationships or people — makes it without numbers.
